I knew Daryl and the rest of the Gushee Family when I was growing up right down the road. I was close friends with Daryl’s younger brother, Chris, who was in my class. I worked at both D&G Machine and helped Daryl bring in hay for many summers. Working with Daryl was always entertaining. We worked hard and had a lot of fun at the same time. Although I hadn’t seen Daryl for more than thirty years, I know he continued to enjoy life to its fullest. I’m happy for the success he found in his business and that he was able to work at something he loved every day. Condolences to Sandy, Jack and the entire Gushee Family.

Oh Gush, I'm so heartbroken that you have been taken from us so soon. You were a friend that is so dear to my heart, the laughs and adventures we've been on, that look you always gave when you were up to something. Best of times.
