Linda passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2018 at her home in Gray, ME
Linda was born in Portland on February 14, 1958 To Lincoln and Mary Sloan. She attended St. Patrick's School and graduated from Portland High School in 1976. Shortly after, she started work at B&M, where she met the love of her life, Bob. They were married on June 23rd, 1979. They lived and raised a family in Gray for almost 40 years.
Linda's biggest passion in life was taking care of other people. She spend 3 years taking care of her mother in Portland, while still taking care of her family in Gray. When her husband Bob got cancer, she took care of him from beginning to end and rarely left his side. She learned how to tend to all of his medical needs and made sure he could pass away peacefully at home as he requested. She would do anything to care for her family and those she cared about. She also had many jobs taking care of the elderly. Linda also took care of her grandson Mason from the time he was born so his mother could continue working.
Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed being social and made friends every where she went. She loved living in the town of Gray and was proud to be apart of that community. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and taking care of her home. She liked to have everything neat and tidy and was often teased by her family at how often she visited the town dump to get rid of her trash. She never left any chores unfinished. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandsons and loved going to their baseball games. She was always the loudest one cheering them on.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Lincoln and Mary Sloan and her husband Bob. She is survived by her children; a son Robert Jr, his wife Beth and their 2 children Robert III and Tanner; a daughter Crystal and her son Mason of Gray, ME.
