Gray- Shirley Ann Ordway, 79, died Friday.

Born on June 1, 1938 in Auburn the daughter of C. Raymond and Nellie Rowe Segars. Shirley attended Gray and New Gloucester primary schools and graduated Pennell Institute in 1956. Mrs. Ordway worked for Pine Tree Telephone and Telegraph as a receptionist. She was very active in Eastern Star and Fidelity Rebekah Lodge. Shirley enjoyed knitting, gardening and mostly just being with family and traveling on Maine Line Tours.

Survived by her husband of 60 years Noel. Three daughters, Debra and husband David Kramlich, Holly and husband Bill Chandler, and Gail and husband Jason White; one son, Richard Ordway and wife Wendy; 14 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home, 24 Shaker Road, Gray. Pastor Jim Marstaller will be the Celebrant. Condolence offering and directions available at www.wilsonfhllc.com
