Bonnie Hersey

Bonnie Hersey, 62, of Auburn, passed away on Wednesday Nov. 18, 2020.

She was born in Lewiston on May 7, 1958 to Robert and Ruth (Davis) Hersey.

She Graduated from Gray-New Gloucester High School and Mid State College.

She retired from the state of Maine after 30 years of employment. Then Bonnie drove school bus for Auburn Schools, Gray-New Gloucester Schools and St Dominic Academy. She really enjoyed interacting with the students she transported. She also volunteered at Gander Brook Christian Camp in the summer.

She really enjoyed going out for coffee with the girls and spent time visiting state parks.

Bonnie is survived by her brother John and his wife Sheila of Norway, ME., niece Kimi Hersey of Brentwood, TN., and a close friend Mark Stanwick.   

She was predeceased by her parents and sister MaryLou Shattuck.

Due to current restrictions there will be no services.
