On August 21, 2022. Christopher D. Ashley passed away suddenly at his home in Gray at the age of 29 after a long battle of substance abuse addiction and mental health issues.
He was born at Maine Medical Center on March 23, 1993 to Sanford D. Farmer and Michele Ashley (White) of Gray.
He attended Mt. Ararat High School in Topsham, and later received his GED Diploma. He pursued some college and had dreams to attend the National Guard.
He was a devoted and loving father with a larger than life personality, who would bring smiles and leave lasting impressions on anyone he would meet.
His favorite comedians to name a couple were Dave Chappell ,and Kevin Hart.
One of his favorite movies was Jackass, where he often would reenact the scenes, the crazier the better that was Chris always pushing the limits.
He was skilled and self-employed as a drywall finisher and HVAC and other handyman jobs like flooring etc.
Chris loved making people laugh and entertaining friends and family, often putting them ahead of himself at any cost. He will be very sadly and deeply missed.
He was predeceased by Sanford D Farmer of Gray.
He leaves behind a son Christopher Ashley Jr, His parents Michele and Shawn White of Lewiston. His younger sisters Danielle Pomeroy and husband Steve of Rockland, Alivia Farmer of Gray, Emma White of Lewiston and Kayla White of West Paris. His older brother Shawn-Michael Ashley and Sister in Law Elise Rioux of Lewiston and their children Aubrey and Asa also of Lewiston. And Damian White of Standish. He also had many Aunts and Uncles.
The family is very proud of Christopher for being brave enough to fight the good fight.
A Celebration of life will be held Saturday September 3, at 1p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home.
