1956-2024

Corinne M. Nason, 67, of North Yarmouth passed away on Monday, January 29 th at her home following a
sudden medical event.
She was born in Brunswick on June 14 th , 1956, daughter of Clinton E. Nason Sr. & Eleanor (McClean)
Nason. She grew up in Yarmouth then North Yarmouth and graduated from Greely High School class of
1974. In the 1990’s, she attended Husson College in South Portland and earned an Associate Degree in
Business Administration.
After high school, she started working for York Insurance Company (AKA Commercial Union, CGU,
OneBeacon and now Intact Insurance) which led her down the path of working in the Claims
Department for just over 50 years. She was very proud of the fact that she had worked for the same
company for all her career.
Corinne, pronounced Cor-een not Cor-in, was an avid reader, a picky eater, and enjoyed sewing and
cross stitching. She was always making baby blankets for friends, family and coworkers. She also liked a
good shopping trip and enjoyed many a trip with her mother as they drove throughout New England
finding out of the way sewing shops and crafting stores. Corinne also loved to travel when she was
younger and traveled all over the US with either family or friends.
She also was a very good photographer whom you would always find behind the lens her nephew’s
numerous sporting events. She would take pictures during the games of her nephews and their
teammates and would have the pictures developed, bagged and labeled for their parents by the next
game.
Corinne loved her family and doted on her two nephews. “Auntie” was always at their events cheering
them on, taking pictures and making treats for the teams. They could always count on her being there
for them.
Corinne was predeceased by her father. She is survived by her mother, Eleanor Nason; brother Clinton
E. Nason Jr and wife Carrie (Nadeau); nephews Joshua and Jacob Nason.
At this time there will be no service but there may be a gathering in the Spring.
