Daniel C. Fackrell, 50, passed away on July 6, 2024. Born on July 2, 1974, in Provo, Utah,
Daniel was the son of Douglas Calvert Fackrell and Lynda Mae Wilson Fackrell. He married
Heather Suzanne Nelson on July 22, 2007, and they were sealed in the Salt Lake City, Utah
temple.
Daniel graduated from Provo High School in 1992 and served an LDS mission in Ireland. He
attended Utah Valley Community College and earned a bachelor’s degree in Zoology from
Brigham Young University in 2000. He received his DMD from the University of Connecticut in
2005 and completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Utah Health Science
Center. Returning to New England, he obtained a master’s degree in Dental Science and
completed a residency in endodontology in 2012 at the University of Connecticut. For the past
11 years, Daniel practiced at Greater Portland Endodontics, where he found great satisfaction in
helping his patients.
Daniel loved the outdoors, enjoying mountain biking, fishing, canoeing, camping, and hiking. He
also enjoyed rock music and attending concerts, but most of all, spending time with his family.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Heather; children Nathan (15), Gavin (14), and Ashton (11);
parents Douglas (Chris) and Lynda Fackrell; and siblings Mike (Danielle), JaLynn (Michael)
Grenny, Stefanie (Martin), and David (Valerie) Fackrell. He was preceded in death by his
grandparents, Ernest and Louise Fackrell, and Darrell and Georgia Wilson.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, July 13, at 2 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-
Day Saints, 247 Walnut Hill Rd, North Yarmouth, with funeral services at 4 PM. In lieu of
