Doris was born January 25, 1928. She was married at the age of 20 plus 1 day to Arnold Morrison of New Gloucester. Together they farmed in New Gloucester and Auburn. Later they became involved with the Opportunity Farm where she worked in the office there. She and Arnold befriended many of the boys at the farm, keeping in touch to this day. They were active members of the New Gloucester Bible Church. In their retirement years they lived in Gray. She worked at the Cole Farms gift shop.
Arnold and Doris raised six children, and several foster children. They were blessed with 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and in 2022 she was the top of 5 generations when her great, great granddaughter was born. She loved children and considered many other children her family as well.
She was predeceased by her husband Arnold in 2014, as well as her parents, her sister and her brother.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Donald and Elaine Morrison, Joyce and Dennis Beedy, Galen and Karen Morrison, Kathy and Bruce Libby, Sylvia and Scott Dehetre, and Kevin and Tina Morrison, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her great great granddaughter.
