Edward Jordan Jr. Obituary

Edward Jordan Jr. passed on 2/22/22 at the age of 67 due to complications of cancer.  He grew up in Cape Elizabeth and went to Cape Elizabeth primary schools and Portland High School. He was a veteran of the Navy and was a bosun-mate on the Skylark. He loved his career as a shoe hand sewer. He was an avid boxing fan and collected numerous boxing memorabilia, especially those of Muhammad Ali. Antique cars were another hobby. To him the best compliment to one of his antique cars was a horn blow and a thumbs up from an anonymous passerby. He also loved to go to antique car shows where he could talk about cars with other antique lovers. His favorite drink was Moxie and he was an avid reader. The Turtle was his spiritual animal.  He loved his spirituality and was a devoted student of the Course in Miracles. He loved history, especially family and presidential history. He was working through seeing all the presidential homes and got to see approximately 10 of them. Showing off and complimenting his wife Betty’s quilts was a delightful pastime. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He was predeceased by his mother and father Arlene and Edward Jordan SR

and sister Stacy Evrard. He is survived by his wife Betty Jordan, stepson Robert Ford, son

Chris Jordan and partner Lori, granddaughter Ryleigh, daughter-in-law Vanessa, son Jeremy Piontkowski, daughter Sarah Jordan Ortiz, son in-law Daniel and grandson Jaxon. His sisters: Brenda C Jordan Smith and family, Kim Jordan Blair and family, Cheryl Jordan Wildes and family, Jo-Lyn Jordan Parenteau and family, adopted grandson Zach Miles and family, adopted daughter Rene and adopted grandson Caden and many nieces and nephews and many other family members and others he considered family in spirit.
