Holly D. Graffam, 57, of Falmouth, ME, passed away after a battle with cancer on December 2, 2022.
Holly was born on February 18, 1965 to Corey and Judy Douglas in Farmington, ME. After Holly graduated from Rockland High School in 1983, she went on to study business at the University of Maine at Farmington. She met her husband, Jeff, in Portland in 1986, where they quickly fell in love, married, and built a house on family land in Falmouth where they raised their own family.
To pursue her strong passion for education and knowledge, she earned two master degrees while teaching in the Scarborough Public School system for over a decade before most recently working for the state of Maine Department of Education to help integrate technology into schools throughout the state. Holly was the life of every party and was known for her dry sense of humor, as well as having a vast and unmatched encyclopedic knowledge that would rival any champion Jeopardy contestant.
Holly is survived by her husband, Jeff, their oldest daughter, Kelsey, and her wife, Alyssa, their youngest daughter, Catherine, and her husband, Chris, her sister, Necol, and both her parents.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 12:00pm-3:00pm at the Falmouth Congressional Church Community Hall, 267 Falmouth Rd, Falmouth, ME 04105. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Center for Grieving Children:
