It is with great sadness that the family of Jaclyn Desiree Anania, 34, announce her passing.
Born Nov. 23, 1990 Portland, Maine.
Our sweet girl suffered a traumatic status asthmaticus at home on the morning of her 34th birthday, freeing her beautiful spirit and soul.
Her body lay peacefully to rest on the evening of Nov. 26, 2024 as her family gathered at her bedside as Jaclyn was peacefully received into the loving arms of God following the Sacrament of the Anointing of the sick, with a priest by her side offering prayers and Holy water.
Jaclyn is lovingly survived by her cherished daughter Kynsley Jo Billings, Mother Lynelle (Kendell) Libby of Alva, FL. Father Robert (Sandy) Anania of Westbrook, ME., sister Lindsay Anania & nephew Adrian of FL., brother Bobby (Katie) Anania of Windham, ME., Maternal Grandmother Lynette Jones of FL., bonus sister Amanda (Dustin) Libby & nieces Finley & Sawyer.
Aunts,Uncles and cousins: Mark & Donna Lebel, Kimberly, Mark Jr., Kristin, Adam, & Kailey, Joanne Anania, Rocco, Amy, & Joseph Navarro, Mike Graffam, Bethany & Nicholas, Doug & Kerrie Huggins, Ashlee & Shalee, Ronna Jones Drees.
Jaclyn is a 2009 graduate of Gray-New Gloucester High School, Gray, Maine
Jaclyn will always be remembered as such a sweet & funny girl with a contagious giggle & beautiful smile. Our Jazz definately had her own time zone. A talented artist with an exceptional eye for photography; a lover of music, dancing, laughter, friendships, sunshine & her Peach-Pie fur baby Monson. She sure enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping & traveling.
Jaclyn is most proud of her sweet daughter Kynsley, whose love & light will forever guide us through this difficult time.
Jaclyn's family heritage runs deep, a Native American Indian- Potawatomi Citizen Band, eligible Daughters of the American Revolution and United Daughters of the Confederacy.
Jaclyn is preceded in death by her maternal Grandfather Jackie Lynn Archer (her namesake, whom also passed at the young age of 34), Paternal Grandparents Joseph & Anna (Cavallaro) Anania, Step-Grandfather Rod Jones, Aunt Lori Graffam, and bonus brother Joshua K. Libby.
Our Jaclyn will never be forgotten, always missed & loved forever by her family & wealth of friends. A special heartfelt thanks to Cory Tufts, Poland Rescue, CMMC Lewiston, ME and the compassionate staff in the ICU, we thank you!!
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
