Jody Valliere, age 57, died at his residence in his sleep of natural causes on February 11th, 2025. Jody was born in Berlin, New Hampshire on August 2, 1968. He graduated from Berlin High school in 1986 and enlisted in the army shortly thereafter before living in Rhode Island with his siblings. He spent time in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania where he lived for several years prior to settling down in Gray, Maine with family around 1999. He found enjoyment in his work as a mason. He was fond of spending time outside, specifically fishing the waters of Little Sebago Lake. Jody was predeceased by his grandparents, Lawrence and Grace Riff. His father Ronald Valliere, step father, Kenneth Skilling. As well as his sister Jennifer Valliere Bergquist Lessard and Nephew, John Valliere. He is survived by his mother, Kristine Riff Skilling. Jody is also survived by his children; Janae Valliere O’Connell, husband Daniel O’Connell and Jody’s first grandchild Cillian, Jodi and Jeffrey Valliere and his siblings; John Valliere, Janet Lavoie, Pamela Valliere, Rolland Valliere and their families. Jody was a Legionnaire of American Legion Post 86 and a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Post 4352 and 4131. His family thanks these organizations for all the support they have provided over the years.
