Katherine “Kathy” L. Oliver, 68, passed away on May 5 th 2020 peacefully, at
her home in New Gloucester. She fought a short, but brave battle with cancer.

She grew up in Falmouth and later Portland, where she met the love of her life,

She spent forty years married to her best friend Jimmy and together, they took on
the world. When Kathy became a Grandmother, her heart grew even more. She
loved her Granddaughter Madelyn and Grandson Jackson tremendously and
spoiled them any way she could. Kathy spent many years in advertisement sales
at WCSH 6.
Kathy enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, baking
cookies, camping in the White Mountains, soaking up sunshine, working in her
yard, anything the color purple, listening to music, and every dog she ever met.
She is predeceased by; Her husband Jimmy, her parents, stepfather Herbert
Hudson, brother in law Bernard Oliver and sister Pamela Thoits.
She is survived by; her son Justin Oliver, his wife Tiffany and their daughter
Madelyn, daughter Jessica Oliver, son Timothy Oliver, his wife Jennifer and their
son Jackson, cherished pets Tucker and Izzy, brother Bob Conley and his wife
Donna, sister Darleen Conley, brother in laws; Harvey Thoits, Richard Oliver, Mark
Oliver and their families. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and
longtime friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at New England Cancer and the
