Kathleen “Katie” (Haight) Williams
December 14, 1960 – August 5, 2025
Kathleen Marie Williams, lovingly known as Katie, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on December 14, 1960, in Springfield, Massachusetts, Katie lived a life marked by fierce strength, endless humor, and deep love.
Katie worked as an IT Applications Analyst for a credit union, where her intelligence and dedication earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike. Outside of work, she found joy in swimming, word puzzles, and diamond art—simple pleasures that reflected her thoughtful and creative spirit.
She had a rare gift for making people feel instantly at home, whether you’d known her for decades or had just met her. Her warmth and wit were magnetic, and her presence brought comfort and laughter to every room she entered.
Katie was preceded in death by her beloved son Robert Williams; her parents Joan and Robert Haight; her brother Jeff Haight; her sister-in-law Ann Rogers; and her sister-in-law Joanne Williams.
She is survived by her devoted husband Brian Williams; her son David Williams; her sister Barbara Veillette; her brothers Charlie Haight (Linda), David Haight (Judy), Tom Haight and Tim Haight (Debbie); her sisters-in-law Doris Bricker (Larry) and Dorothy Corbin (Jim); her brother-in-law Glen Williams; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends who were like family.
A celebration of Katie’s life will be held in the near future, where loved ones will gather to honor the legacy she leaves behind.
Katie’s kindness was her legacy, and it lives on in all of us.
