Leslie Berryman (Crosby) Obituary

Leslie Gail Berryman ( Crosby) gained her new legs on August 3rd,2025 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis, with loved ones by her side.

She passed at Coastal Manor in Yarmouth, Maine resided for the past several years. The family would first and foremost like to give their thanks to the entire staff there for taking care of her with so much love. Leslie was born on August 8th 1959 in Waterville Maine, making her just shy of 66 years old.

She grew up in Burnham, Maine and graduated from Maine Central Institute in 1977. From there she went on to become a CNA for most of her working career. She and her husband ran Patterson’s store in Burham for a brief time and she also worked in the home healthcare field while holding down a second job at Richie’s Pizza in Pittsfield. Leslie was strong willed and put up a long hard fight against her disease for almost 20 years. We are sad to see her go but so grateful that she can move freely once again. Leslie loved the color red, Chinese food and was a huge on apple decor. She was a strict Sunday cleaner and if you made a mess on her freshly washed floor - you’d wish you hadn’t! She would say that her biggest accomplishment was her three children and was proud of how they all turned out. Those three children will miss her dearly.

She is predeceased by her father John O. Crosby and Lucille E. Crosby (Picher) of Burnham, numerous Crosby and Picher Aunts and Uncles, sisters Nancy and Audrey Crosby, her sister in law Beatrice Milewski, nephew in law Chuck Landry, infant niece Michelle Milewski, her  mother and father in lawFrancis and Arveen Berryman and her best friend since high school, Cathy Waterman.

She is survived by her children Sarah Crosby, Joshua Berryman, his wife Nadia and their children, Daughter Katie Wagoner, her husband James and their child, her brother John Crosby, brother Paul Milewski, his wife Lynn and their children, brother Charle Milewski, his wife Bether and their family, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
