Marian J. Crain

Marian J Crain went to be with the Lord on Thursday July 25, 2024, surrounded by her husband and family. Born to William and Mildred Christian in Everett, Massachusetts on October 19, 1949, Marian lived in Everett and attended Catholic School until the age of 8 years old when her family bought a small farm in New Gloucester, Maine. Marian enjoyed working with the cows on the farm. She attended and graduated from Gray High School. Marian continued her education at Plus Gray Business School. She worked at The Value House as a keypunch operator and later at LL Bean in the same capacity and worked her way up to Telemarketing Scheduler when she retired. In 1968 Marian met a young sailor from Illinois who was stationed at the Naval Air Station in Brunswick. They married in June of 1971 and had 2 children, Michelle Jean and Daniel John Jr. They had 7 grandchildren. Marian's biggest joy in life was spending time with her kids and grandkids.
