North Yarmouth: Michael Lee "Mikey" Marston (52) born 6/11/1973, passed away at home Saturday evening on April 25, 2026, due to a sudden heart attack. Those closest to Mike will always remember him for his generosity, hard work, and tender heart. He was considered a loving and devoted 'Papa' in the eyes of his grandsons Alexander "AJ" and Kendrick, from his son, Damion. He also loved his granddaughter, Freya, from his daughter, MaryJane.
This gentle soul was preceded by his Father Richard Earland Marston on January 26, 1991. Michael is survived by his very caring and extremely dedicated mother: Susie May Leighton (Chadborne), who was at home with him that final evening when he came back hot and winded from a strenuous day of physical activities, attempting to take a shower, but sadly left this life unexpectedly. Michael leaves behind his adult children: Cassandra, Sarah, MaryJane, and Damion and all their familes. Mikey is survived by his older brother: Rick Marston and his partner Jessica, mother of Sarah, MJ, and Damion.
Michael also leaves behind his adopted sister Betty and her husband Jim, his sister Irene Marston and her husband Eric, his niece Richarda and nephew Denny, along with all of their families and numerous others.
Michael attended Greely High school and graduated in 1993. As a member of the Alumni, Mikey leaves behind countless classmates and infinite friends; notably Scott and Misty, Mike Beggs, Brittnee, Bri, and Kyra to name a few, all who openly praised Mikey for his thoughtfulness, dependability, and kindness; each one in their own unique description have shared their special connection to Mike in a meaningful way.
Michael enjoyed the great outdoors, lived his life to help others, and never hesitated to share his laugh and witty sense of humor. He will be forever remembered, deeply missed, and treasured in the hearts of many.
May God bless Mikey with pain-free peace and eternal rest in Jesus, our loving Lord and Savior.
