Obituary of Pearl Berube
Pearl Iverne Berube came into the world on December 21, 1936, the Daughter of Henry and Margaret (McKay) Roberts and the youngest of 8 children. Pearl grew up in Lisbon Falls, Maine with Brother’s: Henry (John); Theodore (Ruben), Donald and Richard as well as Sister’s: Eloise, Millie and Cinnie. Pearl graduated from Lisbon High School, then worked for Polar Paints in Lewiston and sold Avon for many years establishing lifelong friends.
Pearl met the love of her life Louis (Louie) Berube at the Heathwood in Lisbon where he was a roller skating instructor. They married November 9, 1963.
Pearl & Louis were very active in their church, Lisbon Falls Baptist, where Pearl taught Whirlybirds for a number of years. She played piano, worked in Junior Church and Vacation Bible School. Pearl never faltered in her devotion to the Lord, claiming Philippians 4:13 as a favorite Bible verse “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me”.
Pearl went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 5th after a long illness. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers and sisters, as well as her loving husband Louis.
She is survived by her 3 children: Sandra (Berube) Eaton & Husband, Randy Eaton of Pittston, ME; James Berube & Alicia Lane of Moyock, NC and Scott & Maggie (Collins) Berube of Chelsea, AL. 10 Grandchildren: Tyler Eaton, Stephanie (Eaton) LaChance, Daniel Berube, Amanda Berube, Alexander Berube, Isaac Berube, Jordan Berube, Jacob Berube, Makenzie Berube, and Blake Collins. 3 Great Grandchildren: Adriana LaChance, Luna LaChance , and Quinn Eaton.
