1941 - 2021



MAPLETON AND GRAY – Peter died at home surrounded by his loving family on April 14, 2021. He was born October 12, 1941, to Gerald and Waneta (Fuller) Piper.


Peter is survived by his loving wife, Cecile; Brothers David (Jane) and Douglas (Pam); Daughter, Tammy (Scott) Thompson; Stepchildren Christine (Jeffrey) Dowdy and Claude (Pam) Martin; Grandson Dylan Elliott, step grandchildren and great grandchildren; he also leaves behind many special friends.  Peter was predeceased by his son, Aaron, and parents Gerald and Waneta.


Peter will always be remembered by his bright and loving smile. Donations in his memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.  Due to Covid-19, no public service will be held.  Condolences may be shared at wilsonfhllc.com.

Mes sincères sympathies à la famille de Peter et à ma cousine Cécile que j'aime beaucoup et à ses enfants. Peter sera toujours dans nos pensées à Réjean et moi nous l'aimions beaucoup. I’m sending Condolences to Peters Wife & family. I always enjoyed talking to you Peter at my Hair Salon . You were a great Person and I will miss you. I will treasure the perennial that you gave me out of your garden.

I love you Peter. You showed me and I learned so many things that I will always remember and teach my sons. You will always be in my heart and thank you for loving me, my children and most of all loving my mother. I saw three bald eagles today flying high while I was working outside. I know you came to visit and will continue to watch over us.. Peter to the second power. Love Claude.
