Randall A. Proctor
After battling a long illness, Randall A. Proctor passed away on Saturday, January 10,
2026. He was 62 and lived with his family in Gray, Maine.
Born on February 9, 1963, in Salem, MA. Randall is the loving son of Martha Mitchell-
Hoy, and the late Arthur (Butch) Proctor, Jr. Randall was a loyal son, father, brother
and friend.
Randy graduated from Stoneham High School in 1981 and pursued a career as a
carpenter. He continued his education to become a licensed contractor and maintained
an active presence in the construction industry throughout his life. In his later years, he
also managed, mentored men at a sober house in Beverly, Massachusetts.
Randy had a strong passion for the ocean, boating, history and music. He often sang
Elvis Presley songs at karaoke nights and at the Continental Restaurant in Saugus. He
loved spending summers on the boat in Cape Ann. He was known by many for his
engaging, fun-loving personality, and his ability to entertain with humor and stories.
Above all, Randy was recognized for his big heart and infectious laugh.
Although Randy never married, he is survived by his son Cameron C. Proctor and his
mother, Amy Corser; and his youngest son, Liam A Proctor and his mother Elena
Papulis. _Also, survived by his sister, Tammy Proctor-Blauvelt and his nephews, Tyler
(Katie) and Austin Blauvelt. In addition, he leaves behind step siblings, great nephews,
aunts, uncles and cousins who held a special place in his heart
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no visitation or formal funeral service. He
will be laid to rest next to his father in Salem, Massachusetts.
