Richard Lavigne, 70, of New Gloucester, died at his home after a year of declining health. He was born in Lewiston, ME to Reno and Alpheda (Cote) Lavigne. He was a Master Carpenter and owned and operated his general contracting company for over forty years, building and remodeling many beautiful homes from Lewiston to the Wells/Ogunquit area. He had an eye for precision, not only in carpentry, but was an avid golfer and pool player. He was a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles. He is predeceased by his parents, a brother of Gerald and sisters Muriel and Jeanine. He is survived by his wife Randi, daughter Laura and sons Jason and Brian. He is also survived by brothers Robert of Hermon, Me and Daniel and wife Patty of Punta Gorda, FL; sisters Lorraine (Latulippe) and husband Denis of Ogunquit and Ft. Myers FL; Merine (Bolduc) and husband Rene of Ogunquit and West Palm Beach, FL; Rena Morin of Wells; Janet (Cather) and husband Buzzy of Summerfield, FL; Joanne (Balazs) and husband Steve of West Palm Beach. FL; Nancy Smith of York; Irene (Good) and husband Ken of Burke, VA; Diane Morin of West Palm Beach, FL; Pauline Kelley of Scottsdale, AZ and sister-in-law Judy Lavigne of Naples, FL. Richard also leaves many nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and customers. He will be missed by all.
