Robert “Roy” Wood
After a long illness, Robert “Roy” Wood passed away on December 25, 2025. Those
who knew Roy understood that beneath that tough guy exterior, he was truly a teddy
bear at heart.
Roy found great joy in riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and attending bike week
events in Laconia, New Hampshire and Daytona, Florida. He loved his outdoor toys
which was evident with his 4-wheelers, snowmobiles, watercrafts and his mudrunner.
Following his service in the United States Navy, Roy dedicated over 30 years of his
career to working for the same company.
Roy is predeceased by his mother, whom he was very close to and meant the world to him. Roy is survived by his father, his father's wife and his five sisters.
Honoring Roy’s request, there will be no service. In keeping with his wishes, his remains
will be buried at sea by the US Navy.
