Roberta King Obituary

 

Roberta L King, 61 of Lewiston Maine, passed away on Tuesday February 4th,2025. Roberta passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Central Maine Medical Center after a 2 year battle with a lung disease. 

Roberta was born on 09/04/1963 in Portland Maine to Carolyn LaMontagne of Gray Maine. And William LaMontagne. 

Roberta graduated from Portland High School in 1982 and went on to be a customer service representative and a homemaker. 

Roberta is survived by many loved ones: her husband of 24 years Charles King of Lewiston Maine, her children Robert Bell Jr. (wife Jennifer Bell) of Limerick  Maine, Nicolle Cote-Bell (wife Jennifer Cote-Bell) of Lewiston Maine, Felicia Bell (Adrian Dehaan) of Auburn Maine Devin Bell (Susan Bowie-Wallace) of New Gloucester Maine. Roberta has 4 step daughters Michelle King-Camden, Debra king, Patricia King and Michaela King. 

Roberta has 4 sisters Terry (Bill Jines) of Casco Maine, Brenda (Gary Pulcifur) of Melbourne Florida, Linda (Dana) Jensen of Windham Maine, Brenda Minott of Windham Maine, and 1 brother William LaMontagne (Barbara Trott) of New Gloucester Maine. 

Roberta also has 18 grandchildren and 1 unborn grandchild. Roberta has 6 great grandchildren. 

Roberta had many nieces and nephews that loved her dearly. Nadine (Benjamin) Glass of Windham Maine, James Minott of Windham Maine, Williams Jines of Bridgton Maine, William LaMontagne of New Gloucester Maine, Amanda Quillen of Oxford Maine, and Charles Radley of Brunswick Maine. 

 

Roberta was pre-deceased by her dad William LaMontagne, one grandchild Brianna Camden, one nephew Keith Jines and many aunts and uncles. 

Roberta loved being a mom, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Roberta loved her family and friends endlessly. Roberta was always there to help anyone with anything she could do. Roberta loved to go out and do things as a family, going to Beech Ridge every Friday night for Car Wars, going to the beach in the summer with her grandkids and watch them play, going to the comedy clubs and having a good time. She loved camping.

Please join us in a memorial service and some food and refreshments on Tuesday March 4th,2025 between the hours of 1pm-4pm at Wilson Funeral Home located at 24 Shaker Road Gray Maine, 04039. 

 

Any and all are welcomed to join us in remembering Roberta as she left many footprints on people’s hearts.  She will never be forgotten.
