Roger E. Coulombe, age 63, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026, after a courageous battle with various health issues, surrounded by his loving family.
Roger was born on August 31, 1962, in Brunswick, Maine, the middle of five children of Donald and Alice Coulombe, who predeceased him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Coulombe; his daughter Jessica McDougall and her husband Steve, along with their children Reagan, Sierra, Seamus, Colby, and Liam, of Windham, Maine; and his daughter Shannon Coulombe and her children Jason and Isabella of Brunswick, Maine. He is also survived by his father-in-law, Robert Payson of Pownal, Maine; brother, Donald Coulombe Jr of Yarmouth, Maine; his sisters, Gloria Couture of Brunswick, Maine, and Debra Mitchell and her partner Chris Mercier of Pownal, Maine; and his sister in law, Aneta Kaoud of Watertown Connecticut. Roger also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, as well as countless friends he made throughout his life.
In addition to his parents, Roger was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Christine Payson; his brother, Roland Coulombe; his brother-in-law, Lawrence Couture; and his sister-in-law, Tana Coulombe.
Roger had a deep love for the outdoors in every season. Whether hunting in the Maine woods, fishing on the ocean, relaxing by a firepit sharing stories with friends, building with his skilled hands, or walking along the beach, he found joy in it all. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family and friends. His greatest passion was music—wherever Roger was, music was never far behind.
Throughout his life, Roger worked many jobs and was truly a jack of all trades. However, his most fulfilling career was as a tractor-trailer driver. He loved being on the road and especially treasured the times when his wife and daughters joined him on his journeys.
At the request of the family, no services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
