Ron Budd was raised and lived most of his life in Cumberland making many friends and smiles with his great sense of humor. He was a hard worker and always willing to give a helping hand. After High school Ron spent time in the Army making life-long friendships and memories.
Ron has four siblings Richard Budd,, Sandra Cromwell , Esther Corcoran, and his baby sister Cynthia Brainerd.
He loved working on cars especially his MGB! And helping out at his Brother's station.
Ron enjoyed fishing, Nascar, basketball and all sports, music, traveling, but most of all he loved cooking and just having a good time and a good laugh with friends and family!
He would say his greatest accomplishments were his two daughters Ashley Budd and myself Heather Freeman.
Ron became a Grandfather 2 years ago to my son Cory Jr. And enjoyed every moment he could spoiling my little guy and being the best "Grumpy " he could be.
The last year's of Ron's life were spent in Cape Elizabeth with his partner Sheilah Mclaughlin and his beloved basset hounds.
Ron was sadly rushed to Maine Medical Center on October 6th and continued to fight until he finally rested peacefully and passed on without suffering at the Gosnell Hospice House on November 15th.
Ron's Daughters will make sure his life is Remembered and Honored with a memorial service after the holiday. It will take place at the Wilson Funeral Home in Gray on December 17th from 1pm to 3pm
