Ryan Langlois Obituary

Poland-Ryan R. Langlois, 49, of Poland passed away unexpectedly on July 31, 2024 with family by his side. He was born March 27, 1975 in Ellsworth. He attended Lisbon High School and loved playing football. He worked for New England Carpenters union for over 10 years.

He enjoyed spending his free time with his family, camping, fishing and going on adventures and traveling with his wife. Ryan passed on his love for football to his sons and never missed a single one of their games.

He was a loving husband, father and son. An all-around amazing man with the biggest heart and contagious smile that lit up any room. Ryan is going to be missed deeply by those who knew and loved him. He always said his biggest accomplishment in life was his children who he loved and cherished more than anything in this world.

He is survived by his wife Carrie Russell and their three sons Darryn, Cadyn and Ryan all of Poland; daughter Brooklyn of Lewiston; mother Leah Zegouros of Lisbon; sister Sandy Morris and husband Ben of Colorado and her children Henry and Abigail; mother and father-in-law Tammy and Mark Russell of Cumberland; sister -in-law Jolene Russell of Gray; nephew Colin Toothaker; Claire Zegouros and her children Miranda and Ben of Gray; and Nick Zegouros of Lisbon.

Ryan was predeceased by his grandmother Catherine Zegouros; uncles John and Vinal Zegouros; sister and brother-in-law Savannah Russell; Ryan Toothaker; stepfather Joe McCarthy.

“A real man loves his wife and places his family as the most important thing in life. Nothing has brought me more peace and content in life than simply being a good husband and father.”

“There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone, the light remains.”
