Seth Vosmus Obituary

Seth Thomas Vosmus, 34 of New Gloucester passed away on August 31, 2022. Seth was born November
10, 1987, in Portland, Maine to Margaret (Meg) and Bruce Vosmus. He lived in New Gloucester and
graduated from Gray New Gloucester High School. Seth also graduated from PATH’s with his certificate
as an electrician and attended CMCC and SMCC and was working as an electrician. He was the past
Master Mason for two consecutive years at Acacia Lodge in Durham, Maine. Seth was also a Hillbilly and
Shriner with Kora Shrine in Lewiston, Maine.

Seth was kindhearted and charismatic. He never met a stranger; he would extend his hand and heart to
anyone. He had an ability to make everyone he met feel valued and important. Seth loved to fish,
kayak, hunt, and ski. He had the best hugs and dance moves!

Seth is survived by his parents Meg and Bruce Vosmus, his brother Toby and his wife Shelley and
nephews Cory and Ethan. It has been noted he also had many brothers of other mothers! Sam Forbes,
Rickards brothers, as well as the entire “wrecking crew” in the neighborhood. Seth was an amazing role
model for his cousin Justin’s children; Kory, Elton, and Blair Vosmus.

The Vosmus Family would like to express their appreciation to all who supported the search for Seth.
The efforts of law enforcement and outreach from family and friends were vital.
