Shelia Emery Obituary
New Gloucester- Sheila L. Emery, went home to her savior Jesus, on July 18, 2022 in Lewiston.
She was born in Gardiner and also attended schools in Gardiner and Windsor.
Sheila worked several years at Fairchild Semiconductor, where she met her husband Edward Emery. They were married in 1969 in Westbrook. Following their marriage, they moved to New Gloucester for the remainder of their lives. She loved to cook, shop, and go to the gym. She was very active with her church family at New Gloucester Bible Church. She went on many ladies retreats, helped with vacation Bible school, and enjoyed socializing.
Sheila is survived by her brother Fenton Sawyer and wife Janette of Alabama. Also, many cousins, nieces and nephews around Maine. She is predeceased by her husband Edward Sawyer, her parents, Alvin Sawyer and Theda Goodwin Sawyer, and a brother Brian Sawyer.
Services will be held at New Gloucester Bible Church on August 13th at 10:00.
