Obituary
FREEPORT-Terrence L Haskell (Terry) died peacefully at Bella Point Freeport, where he had been a resident for the last 4 years, on March 13, 2023. He was 78.
Terry was born on December 11, 1944 to Shailer P and Emma R (Black) Haskell
He attended schools in New Gloucester and was a member of the last graduating class of New Gloucester High School.
After High School, he enlisted in the Navy and served a short time. After his discharge, he worked in construction, was a nurse at Pineland Center and worked at Decoster Egg Farms in Turner.
His hobbies included drawing, of which he gave to some of he residents at Bella Point and playing Sudoko on his computer, to name a few.
He is predeceased in death by his parents Shailer P Haskell in 1964, Emma R (Black) Haskell in 1985, his sisters-Shirley S (Haskell) Donovan in 2016 and Nathalie A (Haskell) Johnson in 2011.
He is survived by 2 sons - James Haskell and his partner Cindy of Minot and Michael Haskell and his children of Lewiston. His nephews - Gary, Linwood, Randall (Randy), Darrell and Dale. His nieces -Yvonne, Donna, Karen, and Diane.
Many great nieces and nephews and many great great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt Thanks to the staff of the Auburn Nursing Home, Bella Point of Freeport and Compassus Hospice for their care and kindness given and shown to Terry while he was with them.
Graveside Burial will be in the Spring in the Lower Gloucester Cemetery in New Gloucester.
