Terri Brown Prescott

Westbrook-Terri Brown Prescott, 60, of Westbrook, ME died on August 15, 2021 after a brief, yet courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on July 14, 1961 in Portland, ME, the daughter of the late Alfred and Marjorie Brown. 

Terri was a beloved sister and aunt, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her son Tommy, stepchildren Gilbert, Johnny, and Adrienne, and of course, the lights of her life, granddaughter Alia and grandson Cadence. Terri was an amazing grandmother and would do anything for her grandchildren. Terri was also known as Momma T to many of Tommy’s friends and cousins and she treated them like her own. 

Terri was an extremely hard worker who always made sure that her family came first. She was extremely dedicated as the sales manager for Higgins Carpet company. When she wasn’t working, she could be found in her gardens, at the beach or spending time laughing with family.  Throughout her last days it was easy to see how much she meant to so many people as both family and close friends came to be by her side.  

Terri is survived by her son Tommy and his partner Amber Woodman of Raymond; Stepson Gilbert of Portland; Stepson Jonathan of Scarborough; Stepdaughter Adrienne of Steep Falls; Siblings Robert and Andrea Knight of New Gloucester; James and Carilla Brown of North Yarmouth; Michael and Janice Brown of Scarborough; Edward Brown of Clinton; Cynthia Brown of Sanford; and many nieces and nephews. 

The family would like to thank hospice care for their kindness and compassion during this difficult time. A Celebration of Life is planned for September 25, 2021 at Spring Meadows in Gray from 4 to 8 p.m. All inquiries regarding arrangements or flower deliveries can be made to Spring Meadows at 207-657-2586.
