Theresa E. Hitchcock

Theresa E. Hitchcock of North Yarmouth passed away peacefully on November 7, 2024 of a brief illness surrounded by family. 

Theresa was born to Harold and Mary Davis on December 23, 1951. She graduated from Greely High School in 1970. Theresa had many hobbies. She loved camping when her children were younger.  She also enjoy her NASCAR, trips to Florida, knitting and bingo every Tuesday at the Elks Club. Theresa loved her family time mostly the Holidays. Christmas was her favorite time of the year. She went all out to decorate. Theresa worked 30 years for Shaws Westgate where she retired. She loved gardening. Theresa is predeceased by her parents Harold and Mary Davis . Her son Robert Dyer and sisters; Mary Trask and Gloria Langway.

She is survived by her loving husband William Hitchcock of 41 years. Daughter; Kerry Bowman and Husband Richard Bowman of Sebago. Daughter Brandy Kimball and partner Virgil Lyons of Woodville. Son Michael Dyer and Partner Tabitha Prior of Standish. Daughter in-law, MaryAnn Peavey of Standish. J. Dustin Hitchcock and partner of Springvale. Sister Cil Davis of Westbrook Brother Ronald Davis of Westbrook, 8 grandchildren. 6 great grand children. Many nieces and nephews. 

The family would like to thank the nursing staff of Northern Lights Hospices for the amazing care they gave Theresa. 

Visitation will be November 17, 2024 from 2 to 4 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 24 Shaker Road, Gray.
