Thomas Charles Laughton, loved Father , Grand Father, Son , Brother, Uncle and friend died peacefully on June 20, 2022.

Born to Kenneth and Velma Laughton of Freeport on May 14, 1956 Tom spent most of his childhood on Good Earth Farm in Freeport and attended Freeport Schools.

He worked for Aero-Tech Industries where he considered himself a jack of all trades, master of none.

Tom built his dream home in Bowdoinham where he raised 3 children.

He is survived by daughters, Jessica Chartier and Angela Laughton, his son Shawn Laughton. his siblings Danny Laughton, Larry Laughton , Nancy Laughton, Paula Jewett and Billy Laughton, as well as many Nieces and Nephews. Tom was an avid Elvis fan, loved camping and spending time with his family and spent time planning out his garden. He enjoyed spending time with friends and would always be found either with his long time love Jane Edwards, enjoying the company of his grand and great-grand children. He spent his summers working with Bob and Freda Pottle at Cindy's Fish N Chips or at his home Pownal known as his Cabin in The Woods. Tom was pre-deceased by his Parents Velma and Kenneth Laughton, Daughter Erica Laughton, and step son Buddy.
