Obituary

Timothy M. Feehan, 61, passed away on Sunday June 25th, 2023. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 20th, 1961. Tim was a member of Mi’kmaq Nation. He was the 5th childborn to Dencil and Shirley (Peters) Feehan. When Tim was young he moved with his parents to Maine where they were able to work the harvests of blueberries, potatoes etc in Presque Isle, ME. As Tim got older he moved into the Opportunity Farm for boys, in New Gloucester, ME. There he met many great friends, including his best friend, Bob Troiano. As their friendship grew, Bob asked his parents, Joseph and Judy Troiano, if Tim could live with them. It was then that Tim became the 8th child of the Troiano Family of Gray, ME.

Tim met his wife, Robin Whitney, in his high school math class at Gray New Gloucester High School. They began dating 2 years later. Tim and Robin married in 1983 and together they raised 4 children. Tim, his late father in law Peter Whitney and brother in law David Whitney, both of Gray, ME, built a home for his family in Gray in 1993. They called it the “Feehan Funny Farm” where they lived, loved, laughed, and fought their way through life. He supported his family by working as a welder for Zajac, LLC for over 30 years. Tim learned his love of hunting and fishing from his father in law and shared it with his brothers Bob, Joe and Tony Troiano, his brother in law David, Uncle Carl and his son Carley, and also his buddy Mike Barkhouse. Later in life he shared these hobbies with his children and grandchildren. Tim also passed on his love of golf to all of his children by teaching them how to play and playing with them as often as he could.

Tim is predeceased by his biological parents Dencil and Shirley Feehan, adopted father Joseph Troiano and father in law Peter “Pops” Whitney. Tim leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Robin Feehan of Gray, his daughter Sara Gray and her husband Cameron of Portland, his sons Matthew Feehan and girlfriend Kari Chambers of Gray, Zachary Feehan and wife Tashia of Gray, Timothy Feehan Jr. and fiancé Hannah Labbe of New Gloucester. He leaves behind also his 7 grandchildren, Zachary, Cooper, Olivia, Brady, Lennon, Timothy III and Colton, his adopted mother Judy Troiano and his mother in law Ruby Whitney. He will be dearly missed by all of his siblings including Lesa Seymour and husband Sean of Florida, William Troiano and wife Carolyn of Virginia, Bob Troiano and wife Danielle of Sabattus ME, Mary Troiano of Westbrook ME, Tony Troiano of Portland ME, Gina Troiano of Gray ME and Joe Troiano and wife Gail of Raymond ME. He will also be missed by his brother in law David Whitney and wife Mia of Gray, ME, along with his several nieces and nephews.
