As Tim got older he moved into the Opportunity Farm for boys, in New Gloucester, ME. There he met many great friends, including his best friend, Bob Troiano. Tim, his late father in law Peter Whitney and brother in law David Whitney, both of Gray, ME, built a home for his family in Gray in 1993. They called it the “Feehan Funny Farm” where they lived, loved, laughed, and fought their way through life. He supported his family by working as a welder for Zajac, LLC for over 30 years. Tim learned his love of hunting and fishing from his father in law and shared it with his brothers Bob, Joe and Tony Troiano, his brother in law David, Uncle Carl and his son Carley, and also his buddy Mike Barkhouse. Later in life he shared these hobbies with his children and grandchildren. Tim also passed on his love of golf to all of his children by teaching them how to play and playing with them as often as he could.
