William ‘Wil’ Mundy Obituary
 

William Mundy, know to those closest to him as Wil, passed away at his home unexpectedly of natural causes Sunday January 19.

Wil as born in Portland, Maine on October 26, 1967 and grew up in Gray, Maine. 

He was predeceased by his father, William Mundy, and his mother Patricia Mundy.  He is survived by the love of his life and longtime companion for the past 12 years, Sharon Barretto, his sister and best friend Tricia Blondin, his nephew Jadon Grona, his brother in-law Steven Blondin, sisters Alison and her husband Christopher, Pam, Beth, and many nieces and nephews. 

Wil was a lover of all animals especially dogs.  He enjoyed caring for his pack of five, and always had an open heart for the just one more Tricia would bring home.  He took his coffee with fur.  Wil loved the New England Patriots, football, gaming with friends, reading and keeping up with current events.  He enjoyed the outdoors, tinkering, organizing and doing projects.

Wil was kind and generous.  He and Tricia were the closest of siblings, living and laughing together was a joy in their lives.  Wil was a humble man, always doing for others as was his nature.  He was a friend to all, and anyone who had the opportunity to know his growing up was very lucky.  He was an amazing man. 

He will be missed and forever in our hearts. 

A Visitation Service will be held at Wilson Funeral Home located at 24 Shaker Road in Gray, Maine on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 5 to 8pm.  Towards the end of the service there will be an opportunity to share your stories and memories of Wil, read a poem, or say a few kind words about him.
