Our beloved mother Zadie E. Burnell passed away on February 7, 2024 in Lewiston, Maine to go be with the Lord.
She was born in West Poland, Maine to the late Lester Lawrence and Cora May Curtis Emery on October 29, 1921 and married John D. Burnell November 11, 1951 at the home where she was born and grew up.
They were blessed with 3 children, Terry Burnell deceased, Steven Burnell of West Poland, and Paula Burnell Steckino of Oxford.
She was a marvelous homemaker who enjoyed doing crafts and entertaining her family on holidays making them joyful and magical.
She leaves behind 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
