Pastor Darwin Vail

Pastor Darwin Vail, originally from Illinois, served in the US Army and is a graduate of Tennessee Temple University. In 1982, he became the pastor of Bible Believing Baptist Church in Gray, Maine. There he and his wife served the people of the Gray community for 37 years.

Following his retirement from BBBC, Pastor Vail became a consultant for Grief Share Fellowship and started his new ministry, Compassion’s Calling. The ministry is designed to equip people for grief ministry and to encourage the church of Jesus Christ to provide the tools to do it.

Kris Stanley

Kris Stanley is the pastor of a family sized church in Cornish, Maine. She is also a military chaplain with 15 years of service (and is still serving in the Air Guard). Kris was not born into a religious family and realizes that everyone is on their own journey to understanding God, the holy and this crazy place we call life. She considers it a pleasure and privilege to come alongside every type of person and family who has been asked to face death and all of the things that come up around these reflective times. It is her purpose and calling to come alongside individuals and families in order to assist in finding hope, healing and peace in a time of great loss
