Jason Wilson is a multigenerational funeral director whose relatives were among the first settlers of Cumberland County. He is a graduate of Gray-New Gloucester High School, Saint Michael’s College ; B.A. concentrations economics-quantitative math, completed a two year Associate Degree in Science from Mount Ida College in one year, Masters of Science in Business, Husson College focusing on quantitative methods qualifying for independent study in Econometrics, Graduate Certificate in Essentials of Project Management Villanova University.
Mr. Wilson developed the economic model for the funeral home, a Bilateral Monopoly and has done research in Occupational Licensing.
He is a licensed funeral practitioner in the State of Maine and Certified Fraud Examiner; Association of Certified Fraud Examiners-this certification is required by all F.B.I. White Collar Crime agents.
Jason has served on numerous community committees. He has been interviewed by media regarding funeral issues and advance health directives. Jason writes a column for the Southern Maine Agency on Aging Newsletter.
