Some people leave a lsting impression; some people inspire; some people give yoiu a new perspective on life; some people make going to work fun and memoriable - Terry Wilkinson was this and much much more. He regaled us with story after story while we shovved down our lunch trying not to choke amid the laughter! We heard the trials and triumps of the kids; we heard the story his adventures at Cole Farms with SHirley (no details here Shirley); he inspired us to do our best as we spent the day teaching kids! but most of all he was a role model of what not just what good teaching (and a clean classroom ) looked like but the importance of family and community service int he mix. I will never forget the day he and shirley dropped by my house. Not easy when you live on an island! I wasn't home but they took a chance that I would be down the road at the shore and of course he was right as usual! I was so excited and invited them back to the house for a cup of coffee and a brownie. He was excited. We walked up the road and into the house. I picked up the brownie bpan only to find a huge chunk missing. I was in shock - what had happened? Terry let out that Terry laugh - he had already been in the house and helped himself to the brownies beofre looking for me! Terry knew how I would react! I laughter harder than he did. That was Terry Wilinson - a person who knew how to balance work with play. A lesson we all need to learn. I feel honored to have known him. Love to Shirley and the family! Donna Miller Damon

I am so sorry to hear that Terry has passed. He was my shop teacher at Greely Jr High. I loved going to shop class because he was a great teacher and thought me to not be afraid of using all the saws and other stuff. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.
Ps I love the tribute to him at the business. I drive by it every day on my way to work.
